Cantina sociale in Roverè della Luna (Wine cooperative)
Oak wood and soil are the two elements that contribute to the excellence of the wines produced by the winery. Wine has always been discussed in Roveré della Luna: farmers lovingly and patiently care for the vines that ripen in gravelly soils that do not retain water. This gives the wine a particular savoriness that discerning tasters recognize as a defining characteristic of the winery.

The territory
Respect for people and the land, the search for quality and innovation: these are some of the principles that inspire the daily commitment of the winemakers of Roveré della Luna, the northernmost village in the Adige Valley, on the border with South Tyrol. Farmers cultivate plants on an immense landslide composed of limestone. The wines are produced in a modern winery and are all marked Doc Trentino, Alto Adige, Teroldego Rotaliano, Lago di Caldaro/Kalterersee and Valdadige.
The history
The production of white and red wines is the result of research and development that has continued uninterruptedly for a century, with full respect for the territory and its peculiarities. The winery was founded in the immediate postwar period by a group of 24 forward-looking winemakers from the village of Roveré della Luna. Innovation has always characterized this enterprise, which in 2001 inaugurated a state-of-the-art facility to boost production. In the basement, under the steel vat room, reserves of Lagrein, Teroldego and Pinot are aged in oak barrels.
