Where science can be experienced like an adventure

A true mountain of light, where everything seems suspended, light, colorful. An ascent, from the bowels of the Earth to the top, through the museum's floors and most original exhibits. At the base of the mountain, the milestones: the origin of the Alps and the Dolomites, the arrival of the first hunter-gatherer communities, and the millennia-long mining of underground resources. Moving up in altitude, the more naturalistic dimension: the rich biodiversity, adaptations and survival strategies of the organisms that inhabit the Alps. Finally, the summit and the discovery of high-altitude glacial environments in the company of the great explorers of yesterday and today.

The history of life has been marked by great phases of transformation that have forever changed its protagonists and dynamics. From the formation of the solar system, to the dinosaur gallery featuring life-size skeletons, to the new discoveries of modern-day technology. A journey through time and space spanning 4.5 billion years, in which the main evolutionary stages of life on Earth are traced, up to the appearance of man and his complex relationship with the natural environment, the environmental, economic and social issues encapsulated in the contemporary themes of sustainability. 

A guided tour together with children from social cooperatives and our staff to discover the animals on display in the large empty space in the center of the museum. A valuable, perhaps unique opportunity to explore the museum in a different way: in this special visit, the interpersonal relationship acquires a fundamental value, alongside the scientific content, making the discovery of MUSE an even more emotional experience.
