The magic of music at high altitude with the festival I Suoni delle Dolomiti (Sounds of the Dolomites) 2022

This edition's calendar has 17 appointments and runs from August 22 to September 23 for a month of mountain exploration. Thanks to the combination of nature and music, it will be able to provide unique and unforgettable emotions.

From tango to classical music, from choir to singer-songwriter: the musical genres will be many and interpreted by the big names of international music.

It opens with a concert-tribute to Franco Battiato by Radiodervish and then moves on to Berlin singer-songwriter Alice Phoebe Lou. Then there is room for classical music with the Amsterdam Sinfonietta, l’Ensemble Zefiro, Vittorio Ghielmi and the Suonar Parlante Orchestra with Gipsy Baroque rhythms, the Trio Italiano d’Archi and ArdeTrio, violinist Alena Baeva and cellist Anastasia Kobekina.

There are also many names in jazz: Accent, the duo Jean Luis Matinier (accordion) & Kevin Seddiki (guitar), HalliGalli Quartet, Andrea Dulbecco, Alessandro Bianchini, Marco Micheli, Enrico Zirilli.

In the sign of auteur music will be the closing of the 2022 edition, with Elio paying tribute to Enzo Jannacci along with five other musicians on Sept. 21 and Max Gazzè  on Sept. 23.

From 6:30 a.m. on lunedì Monday, Aug. 29, Marco Paolini together with guitarist Alberto Ziliotto will be the protagonist of the Alba delle Dolomiti festival, (Dawn of the Dolomites) on the Gruppo del Catinaccio at Prà Martin on Ciampedìe. There will also be a special project dedicated to writer Luigi Meneghello.

The Brenta Dolomites will then welcome the participants of the Trekking dei Suoni, scheduled Sept. 10-12 (it is the only event with a fee and reservation required), in the name of world music. Starring with Mario Brunello will be Gevor Da bagyan, one of the greatest representatives of the Armenian musical tradition. It will be a three-day trek in the setting of the Brenta Dolomites accompanied by mountain guides and professional musicians, and with overnight stays in mountain huts and half-board treatment.

All concerts will be at 12 noon, except for Alba delle Dolomiti, which is scheduled for Aug. 29 at 6:30 a.m.

Attendance to the events is free of charge and you don't need a ticket.
