Agri90
Agri90 is an agricultural cooperative based in Storo, in the Chiese Valley in southwestern Trentino, between Garda and Lombardy. It has over 120 members and is specialized in the production of native corn and, especially in the summer season, small fruits and vegetables.
These products are obtained with traditional methods of integrated farming and focusing on quality, nature's timing and people's work. The famous Storo Yellow Flour, ideal for the preparation of true mountain polenta, comes from here.

The territory
Valle del Chiese s nature, history, culture. This strip of borderland is located in the southwestern part of Trentino and is crossed by the Chiese river. Here there are numerous places to visit, from the peaks of the Adamello to Lake Idro, from the nature of Val Daone to the waterfalls that dot the entire valley and the cornfields that color this land.
To get to know and fully appreciate the area, one can savor the taste of its typical products: they range from the yellow flour of Storo - thanks to which the famous Storo polenta is prepared - to the Arctic char, and from the bear's radicchio to the potatoes and malga cheeses.
The history
Agri90 has well over 100 years of history.
The first cooperative mill dates back to 1921 and was built within the Storo Cooperative Family: members and the population could come there under advantageous conditions to grind corn, soft wheat, and beans.
In 1926, in addition to building modern bakery ovens, collective trading dei prodotti agricoli dei soci. of members' agricultural products also began. In 1950 a new and modern mill allowed for expanded production, while in the 1980s the Cooperative began to specialize in retail sales.
In 1991, after a couple of years of meetings with local farmers, a separate and autonomous cooperative called Agri90 was born. From the beginning, its cornerstones were a focus on the territory, the promotion of native corn and the work of its members.
Today the Agri90 Cooperative mainly grows and processes the precious red gold grains made from Marano wheat. It is an easily digestible flour, a protagonist in the cauldron to give life to the fragrant, unique, soft and consistent yellow flour polenta from Storo. Today this flour is also used for a wide range of products from cookies to crackers, and has long been popular in the kitchens of top chefs.
