Plot
This story is set at the archaeological site of Riparo Dalmeri, inhabited in the late Paleolithic period by hunters who specialized in ibex hunting. Under the rock vault near the hut are three pits filled with ibex skulls and horns. Archaeologists discovered more than 200 stones painted in red ochre, with abstract designs and animal silhouettes: the largest features a figure interpreted as a shaman. Baby teeth found at the site show that hunters moved from the valley floor to the mountains with their families and children.
