Beer and food pairings
With slight amber hues, La Garba is a Pale Ale - a top-fermented beer. It is characterized by its fruity, citrusy and spicy aroma, with hints of cereals and light bread crust. On the palate, a pleasant full flavor leaning toward the hops, which, however, does not overpower the malty part: cereal, bread crust and slight caramel notes coming from the malt while the spicy, citrus and fruity ones from the hops. A pleasantly bitter aftertaste, not very persistent.
STYLE: Pale Ale
ALCOHOL: 5,9% Vol
COLOR: Light amber
TEMPERATURE: Serve at 8 - 9°C
Garba is at its best when paired with meat, especially grilled or barbecued, and cured meats. A curious pairing is with fish, preferably fatty fish such as salmon or a fish well seasoned with garlic and parsley. Among cheeses, Trentingrana or Parmigiano Reggiano, whose savoriness it mitigates, or the strong character of gorgonzola and alpine cheeses are preferred. Dessert pairing, such as a berry-based fruit tart, should not be ruled out.
Mount Lefre dominates the Valsugana and offers an extraordinary vantage point over the entire valley. As evidenced by trenches dating back to the Great War and the imposing Castel Ivano located on its slopes, it has been a place of highly strategic value for centuries. The legends about this mountain rooted in memory are many, and its paths lead those who venture into a magical dimension.
