Vezzena cheese was never missing on the table of Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria. Even after being aged for a long time, it retains a soft flavor and buttery consistency. It also releases particular aromas according to the grazing period.
It takes 100 liters of milk to make one wheel of Vezzena. The product is completely free of additives. It has multiple uses: it can be eaten at the end of a meal, used to enrich pasta and white meat dishes, and it can be grated. We recommend it paired with robust red wines or Vino Santo.
