Between memory and identity, the tradition of charcoal burners remains alive, along with iconic sites such as the Church of the Nativity and Castel San Giovanni , a sentinel over the Chiese Valley.

A few kilometers away, Storo is the home of " yellow gold ": Storo yellow flour from the Agri '90 cooperative . The Agri '90 cooperative grows and processes Marano wheat , producing a digestible and fragrant flour, the queen of soft and consistent polenta . Today, the same raw material is also used to make biscuits and crackers , even reaching the kitchens of great chefs.
