Carnival Krapfen
Ingredients (16 doughnuts):
- 500 g flour ,
- 220 ml milk ,
- 100 g sugar ,
- 1.5 cubes of yeast ,
- 40 g Trentino butter ,
- salt,
- 1 egg + 2 egg yolks ,
- frying oil ,
- sugar,
- raspberry jam or Sant'Orsola apricot jam .

Preparation:
- Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk, add to flour and create a batter, rest for 10 minutes
- add butter, salt, egg and egg yolks, knead and let rise for 45 minutes
- Roll out to 1 cm, cut out discs, let double in size and fry at 160° for 3–4 min
- Drain, fill with jam and finish with icing sugar
