A journey to Val di Gresta

Val di Gresta stretches between lakes and mountains from the basin of Lake Loppio, in Monte Baldo Park, to the more than 2,000 meters of Monte Stivo.

A strip of Trentino that is different from other valleys, looking from Vallagarina to Garda, which mitigates its climate, making it an area particularly suited to the cultivation of vegetables and greens: the first and only certified organic district in Trentino was born here.

The proposal of the area is very varied, offering activities for all tastes in contact with nature and tradition.

The nearby Monte Stivo and Monte Baldo offer pleasant excursions for all seasons, perhaps snowshoeing during the winter.
The nearby resorts on Lake Garda - from Riva to Torbole, with their quaint town centers, stores, lakeside promenades, and opportunities for many activities - are well worth a visit. So are Rovereto  and the Mart Museum.

There are many cues to experience the area on two wheels as well: several routes dedicated to mountain bikes, while on the Bordala Pass the Mountain&Garda Bike circuit offers numerous routes to experience and that allow you to cross the area while respecting others and the territory itself.

Several farms and educational farms offer experiences in contact with nature and animals. There is also no shortage of horseback riding activities and numerous opportunities to enjoy the landscape from a different and exciting perspective by hang gliding or paragliding.

Also important is the historical past of Val di Gresta, once the stage for the Great War: the trenches of Nagià Grom, Monti Biaena and Creino are still living evidence of that period, which can also be explored thanks to the work and proposals offered by the War Museum.
