Grappa is a classic of Trentino tradition and is usually better enjoyed in company. Gentian grappa is bitter and has the surprising ability to round off a heavy meal perfectly: gentian, in fact, has well-known digestive properties!

Gentian grown at the altitudes of the Fiemme Valley preserves its flavor to the fullest, giving the grappa a distinctive, bold taste. The production process involves cold infusion in white grappa for 30 to 60 days (being an artisanal product, it does not follow a standardized procedure but requires periodic tasting to determine the shelf life). After infusion, the grappa is bottled undiluted, and a root is added to the bottle, which continues to impart flavor until consumption.

The historic Pilzer distillery in Val di Cembra prepares it for us with our gentian grown at 2,000 m above sea level in Val di Fiemme (Trentino - Alto Adige).
