Cantina d'Isera

Il buon vino nasce in campagna, dalla generosità della collina di Isera e dalla passione dell’uomo. Ogni fase, dalla scelta dei nuovi impianti fino alla cura di ogni singola vigna, è seguita e controllata con rigore dai viticoltori, per offrire ad ospiti e degustatori d'ogni dove una produzione sana e di alta qualità. Sono invece gli esperti enologi della Cantina ad occuparsi della vinificazione, bilanciando sapientemente i vantaggi delle nuove tecnologie e la saggezza delle antiche tradizioni. Perché la qualità non accetta compromessi.

The territory

The basaltic hills of Isera, in Vallagarina, give its prized grapes unique organoleptic characteristics. The standard-bearer of the Cantina's tradition and values is undoubtedly Marzemino, a typical wine of the valley that reaches its highest qualitative expression precisely in Isera. Even Mozart presented Marzemino in his "Don Giovanni", as the quintessence of the pleasures of the table.

The history

Trentino was still under the Habsburg Empire when in the first decade of the twentieth century the winegrowers of Isera started their cooperative winery. Thanks to the commitment and enthusiasm of the growers - they were not that many compared to other wineries - this winery's production was able to establish a leading role for itself in the Trentino wine scene. Priority is given to quality rather than quantity, and the standards of the Controlled Denomination of Origin (DOC, in Italian) are met.
