Chestnut growers from Trentino Alto Adige

The Trentino Alto Adige chestnut growers cooperative has brought together various Trentino chestnut-growing areas in a single network since 1994.

The contributing members are around 70 and come from all over Trentino.

The taste of chestnuts from different valleys in a series of unique and exclusive products that bring to mind the splendor of the colors and the pathos of the archaic values of the centuries-old chestnut grove.

Chestnut cultivation is scattered throughout the province, yet it represents an important element of the low mountain landscape. The centuries-old chestnut groves, with their colors and history, preserve a heritage of local traditions and identities. The cooperative unites members from the Giudicarie to Rendena, from Valsugana to Alto Garda and Vallagarina, and all the way to Alto Adige. In addition to supporting production, it promotes training, information, and agronomic assistance for chestnut growers. The result is a tangible valorization of the marron through products that reflect local areas, seasons, and rural history.
