The grapes for this wine come fromWinchel vineyardIn Roveré della Luna, on sedimentary soils enriched by the detrital deposits of the Rio Molini. Harvesting is strictly manual, with selection of the finest bunches. After low-temperature maceration and gentle pressing to extract aromas and colors, the must ferments partly in steel tanks and partly in French oak barriques and tonneaux, followed by8–10 months of aging on the lees, for an elegant and complex wine.
